Hungarian Partridge (Grey partridge)
Latin name : Perdix perdix
A medium-sized, plump game bird with a distinctive orange face. Flies with whirring wings and occasional glides, showing a chestnut tail.
Groups of 6-15 (known as coveys) are most usually seen outside the breeding season. It is native and found in the northern part of France (north of Loire River).
When a group (coveys) is passing the line high and fast it is really confusing and challenging !
